MS Word Custom Paper Sizes

You can select from a variety of different properties to alter the size of your printouts. There are four options to change these properties. They are labeled Alignment, Margins, Base size, and Color. You can also include an optional third property if you plan to use multiple copies of the same document.

Press the right arrow on the keyboard to open the Customized paper properties dialog box.(You may also see this button in your printer’s main menu.) You’ll find four options under Alignment: Center, Right Fit, Offset and Home. By selecting one of these four choices you can change the alignment of your customized paper to a different location on your printer.

You will see the words “Population settings” at the bottom of the window. The numbers in this text show the amount of people in your market that will see your advertisement. Click on the appropriate number to alter the settings. Type in the values and hit OK to change the settings.

The numbers in the upper left corner indicate the alignments that you can choose to modify your document. There are three alignments to choose from: Home, Center, and Offset. Drop-down lists: You can alter the color scheme of your personalized paper sizes by selecting the drop-down menu below the scale option. The list is comprised of solid and dots colors. When you select a color from the list, the scale will automatically be adjusted to match the color you select. To change the color scheme, simply click on the color that you want and then click the ok button.

Two-Column AutoShaper – You are able to adapt your document to the perfect 2 column format by using the autoShaper for two columns. To do this, simply click on “semble” next to “flows”. The “flows” tab offers a variety of handy tools, such as customizing page size control, page centering, justification, and alignment tools. These tools are accessible by clicking on the icons. To alter the layout, click on the “link icon”.

Preset Colors – In older printers, you may have to enter manually the desired color for each page. However, modern printers let you choose a custom paper size from a range of pre-set colors. Click on “color” to open the color palette. A color selection will be displayed. Click on the color you want to change your color selections. To return to the color palette, press the “back” button.

It should be easy and quick to alter the paper size settings within your printer driver. These tips will allow you to navigate the different options and settings your printer driver can provide. You can alter the paper information setting to make sure that your documents are in the correct size for your printer.

The Print Server dialog box will open and display the following options: Current paper settings, which will display all the custom sizes of paper currently in use. Double-click “current size” to display the current range of sizes as well as their numbers. The number you select will determine the size that is the maximum or minimum of your document. If you’d like to stretch your document, choose the “stretch” tab and type in an amount between zero and nine.

Click “print” in the main menu to update your paper’s size information. There will be an update dialog box. Click ” ok.” To change the configuration of your printer select “print” from the main menu. Then select the print settings tab. You will see a brand new set of options.

To add more custom sizes of paper You will need to open the Print Server dialog box then click the “add” button, enter an amount between one and nine and then click ” OK.” In the new window you can modify the values from the current settings, and make sure you have them correct before hitting the “apply” button. In a matter of seconds, you will have a choice of custom paper sizes, and all of them will be available for use in your document. If you find this too complicated or want to speed up the process and use only one document with different dimensions then you can always choose “set number” and select the size you like within the range you entered in the previous step.
